Rolling hills surrounded by a dense forest, completed with a small spring fed pond, cedar tree lines and the history of a working dairy captured our hearts back in the snowy season of 2008. Cedar Springs Farm became our home and our future. Working hard at our goal of living a sustainable lifestyle, while enjoying family life and growing roots of all kinds. We started with dirt, some old barns and a dream. Believing that it is better to dream and not achieve than to have never dreamed at all. Today the farm is home to a small family herd of French Alpine dairy goats, a growing flock of East Friesian dairy sheep, beef cows, productive laying hens, honey bees, a few guinea fowl, a couple of happy pigs and their guardians, the Great Pyrenees working dogs. With the consistent flow of milk, we make our own aged, raw sheep & goat milk cheeses. These cheeses are available to share holders as well as grass finished beef, pastured lamb and pork, seasonal organic veggies & herbs, free range eggs, goat & sheep milk soaps, lotions and organic skin products. Feel free to contact us for a list of what is currently in season and for more info on owning a goat or sheep milk share. Tommy & Susie both work full time jobs outside of the farm, so to be sure you catch one of them at the farm, an appointment is recommended. Thank you for joining us in our journey - we hope to see you around the farm!
